Viveve™ Vaginal Rejuvenation
If you are experiencing painful sex, embarrassing bladder leaks or other vaginal problems, you are not alone. More than 40% of women experience vaginal looseness (laxity) that can decrease sexual sensation. And after menopause an estimated 50% of women experience vaginal dryness, pain or irritation. Further, one third of women experience bladder leaks (incontinence) that causes them to urinate a little when they laugh, sneeze, or workout.
The good news is that innovative, affordable, non-surgical Viveve radiofrequency vaginal rejuvenation can remedy all of these problems with just a single 30 minute treatment! Viveve™ is a state-of-the-art vaginal tightening procedure recently approved by the FDA that uses radiofrequency (CMRF) to rejuvenate vaginal tissue and muscles. And because Viveve™ is a nonsurgical treatment, it is completely painless and there is no downtime.
Contact Vikas Merchia, MD, FACOG, to schedule a comprehensive, compassionate and confidential consultation – and take the first step toward restoring your sexual health and enjoyment.
How Viveve Vaginal Rejuvenation Works
During the Viveve procedure, a slim wand is used to apply heat to targeted areas of the vagina using radiofrequency. This stimulates collagen production within the vagina, which helps to strengthen and thicken the tissues and muscles in the vaginal walls and surrounding pelvic areas.
As a result of the rejuvenated vaginal tissue, the vagina feels tighter – which not only increases sexual sensation but also helps stop embarrassing bladder leakage. The regenerated tissue also becomes less dry, remedying painful or uncomfortable sexual intimacy.
To ensure the Viveve procedure is completely comfortable, the treatment also includes a cooling process for a painless experience. Only one single thirty minute treatment is needed for most patients.
Patients typically begin to notice vaginal improvement as soon as the first few weeks after treatment. As the woman’s natural vaginal collagen production continues to increase, results will continue to improve over time. Within 6 to 9 weeks most patients experience maximum improvement in sexual sensitivity, vaginal tightness and bladder control.
